Meet Our Principal

Ana Castellanos Williams is an instructional leader with nearly two decades of experience in public education, specializing in academic achievement, multilingual education, and equitable school improvement. She currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Geneva Heights Elementary School in Dallas ISD and is a Principal Resident at Anne Frank Elementary School.
Throughout her leadership journey, Ana has consistently driven meaningful instructional growth and measurable improvements in student learning. Her work has strengthened literacy outcomes, accelerated progress for multilingual learners, and elevated overall campus performance. Ana is known for aligning vision with action, leveraging data to inform instruction, and empowering educators to collectively raise expectations and outcomes for all students.
Ana is deeply committed to cultivating positive school cultures supported by strong, sustainable systems. She has led the implementation of frameworks that promote student accountability, belonging, and growth, resulting in safer, more supportive learning environments. In addition, she has successfully secured resources to expand campus-wide initiatives that amplify student voice, foster leadership, and ensure schools meet the holistic needs of every learner.
Prior to her role in Dallas ISD, Ana served as an ESL Title III District Specialist in Rockwall ISD, where she designed and delivered professional learning and supported campus leaders in leveraging assessment data to close achievement gaps. Her classroom experience includes serving as a Dual Language teacher at the elementary level and as a Spanish teacher at the secondary level, where she also led PLCs, served as a team leader, and sponsored the Spanish Honor Society.
Ana holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University and a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad de Jaén in Spain. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at East Texas A&M University, with a dissertation focus on closing academic gaps for historically marginalized students.
Ana leads with a strong belief in high expectations, collaborative leadership, and systems that ensure every student thrives.
